Our Professional Pilot Program takes you from zero experience to a working pilot — building every certificate and rating you need, in one place, at Aurora State Airport.
Core certifications
- Private Pilot Certificate — your first license: fly solo and carry passengers in visual conditions.
- Instrument Rating — fly in clouds and reduced visibility.
- Commercial Pilot Certificate — get paid to fly.
- Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) — teach others while you build flight hours.
Additional ratings
- Multi-Engine Rating — aircraft with more than one engine (Multi-Engine Add On).
- Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII) — teach instrument flying.
- Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) — teach in multi-engine aircraft.
Once you earn your CFI, you can build experience and income as an instructor on your way to the Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate — and graduates may have the opportunity to instruct with our school.
